BROWN GIRL. BLUEGRASS.

An autobiographical one woman show of the author, Berry, "Brown girl. Bluegrass." examines the rarely documented cultural history of African-Americans in Kentucky. Berry blends the perspectives of her own childhood through Kentucky geography and personal events while honoring the work of important ancestors whose lives parallel with her own.  Her take on the culture, geography, and history of Kentucky is poignant, didactic, and enlightening as we see the historical figures of our enriching and emotional past come to life with ancestral music to soundtrack these powerful stories.

Daddy's Girl!

Four years ago, my father and grandfather passed away. I loved them to my core and they were huge musical inspirations in my life. I decided to create an album that focuses on love and family. Just recently, my album was digitized on cdbaby, itunes, and amazon.com. I would love for you to check out my "Soul" work. This definitely was a labor of love for me and family. Check it out on itunes, google play, and amazon.com

Berry and Company!

In October of 2013, I decided to build a band to grow with! I'm so proud to be part of such great talent and awesome musicianship. After singing at so many open mics and rocking with a pianist and with a guitarist--it felt only right to start a band to match the full sound of my voice. I'm humbled and honored to have people who choose to rock with Berry!
